Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, is expressing gratitude for another year filled with love and joy. The businesswoman celebrated her 71st birthday by sharing a series of videos on Instagram, featuring the song “It’s my birthday, I’m gonna party.”
In the posts, Tina sang along to the lyrics of her daughter Beyoncé’s hit “Savage,” and gave a special shout-out to the matriarch. In her caption, she wrote, “I just came across this in my feed—so cute! @beyonce_my_life_ I suppose you put this together. Thank you so much! I am so thankful to God today for so many things—my family, friends, health, and life! I plan to have a Happy Birthday today—pray, dance, laugh, and love big!!!”
Reflecting on her 70th birthday, Tina also shared her gratitude for the flowers and support she received from loved ones. “Thanks to all the people that sent me flowers, physically and mentally. Too many to name! But the flowers were exquisite! So blessed to know and love the people in my life. God is so good,” she said.
