Lily Collins and her husband Charlie McDowell are thrilled to embrace parenthood following the birth of their first child. The Emily in Paris actress shared the joyous news in a heartfelt Instagram post on January 31, announcing the arrival of their baby girl via surrogate.
“Welcome to the centre of our world, Tove Jane McDowell,” Collins wrote, revealing their daughter’s name. She also expressed deep gratitude toward the surrogate mother, saying, “Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again.”
The couple generously shared a sweet photo of their newborn, who was dressed in an earthy-toned onesie and a hand-knitted beanie decorated with flowers and leaves. The little one was lying in a cozy bassinet, with a personalized blanket featuring her name placed nearby.
Collins and McDowell became parents more than four years after their wedding in September 2020.
