Lahore Faces Poor Air Quality as AQI Exceeds 300

Lahore’s air quality remains critically low, with the city reporting an average Air Quality Index (AQI) of 329 on Saturday, making it the third most polluted city in the world.

Dhaka tops the list with an AQI of 435, while Delhi follows with 386.

The worst pollution levels in Lahore were recorded on Raiwind Road, where the AQI reached a staggering 578. Other areas with high pollution included Polo Ground in Cantonment at 571 and Multan Road at 533.

This hazardous air quality presents serious health risks for residents, and there are no immediate actions being taken to address the situation.
