England Rugby celebrates Princess Kate with birthday tribute

Princess Kate is celebrating her 43rd birthday, marking her first since overcoming a significant health challenge that involved preventative chemotherapy treatment.

To commemorate her special day, England Rugby, one of the organizations she supports, posted a warm birthday tribute on social media. The message read: “Our patron. Wishing HRH The Princess of Wales a happy birthday.”

As the patron of England Rugby, a role she took over from Prince Harry after his departure from royal duties, Princess Kate has been a passionate supporter of the team. Her involvement includes attending key matches, such as the team’s World Cup quarterfinal win against Fiji in October 2023, where she personally congratulated the players.

This birthday holds extra meaning for Princess Kate as she recently faced significant health challenges. In January 2024, she underwent abdominal surgery at the London Clinic, which led to the discovery of cancer. Following this, she made the decision to undergo preventative chemotherapy. After several months of treatment, she shared in September 2024 that she had completed the regimen, accompanied by an inspiring message and a short film by Will Warr.

Prince William also honored his wife with a heartfelt message and a new photograph, praising her strength and grace throughout her health journey.

The Princess continues to inspire with her dedication to her royal duties, her family, and her advocacy for important causes.
