ISLAMABAD:
President Asif Ali Zardari is scheduled to depart for China on Tuesday for a four-day visit, set to take place from February 4 to February 8.
A high-level delegation will accompany the president on this trip, including his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, daughter Asifa Bhutto Zardari, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
During the visit, President Zardari is expected to meet with the Chinese president. Additionally, the delegation will participate in discussions focused on the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), enhancing bilateral relations between Pakistan and China, as well as addressing regional and global security concerns. The visit will also involve deliberations on various matters of mutual interest between the two countries.
