This visit comes amid recent controversy sparked by former Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Hafeez, who faced backlash after meeting Dr. Naik last week. Hafeez shared photos of their meeting on social media, captioning the post, “Pleasure meeting with Zakir Naik.” The images, which included one taken at a restaurant, drew significant criticism, particularly from Indian social media users.
One user commented, “This is one of the reasons why the Indian cricket team and the Indian government do not want to come to Pakistan.” Another remarked, “When you welcome and cherish a designated terrorist, then India will play in Pakistan?
