Woman Removed from EasyJet Flight After Racist Outburst Targeting Muslims and Ukrainians

A woman was removed from an EasyJet flight after reportedly unleashing a racist outburst mid-flight, leaving passengers stunned. The incident occurred on a flight from Belfast to Manchester, where the woman allegedly made offensive comments about Muslims and Ukrainians.

Shauna Corr, a passenger on the flight, described the situation, saying, “The woman was seated a few rows ahead of me, and I felt sorry for the couple and children seated behind her. Her language was appalling and racist, including derogatory remarks about Muslims and, at one point, Ukrainians.”

The woman’s behavior became increasingly disruptive as the flight progressed, drawing attention from several passengers. At one point, a flight attendant warned her that the police would be called if her behavior continued. Corr added, “She was causing a scene, but the stewards handled it well. It was truly repulsive behavior.”

An EasyJet spokesperson explained, “The flight was met by police upon arrival due to a disruptive passenger. Our cabin crew are trained to assess and manage such situations and acted swiftly to ensure the safety of the flight and passengers was maintained.” They stressed that the airline takes such incidents seriously to safeguard the well-being of everyone on board.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed, “We received reports of a woman being drunk and disorderly on a flight from Belfast to Manchester. Upon arrival at Manchester Airport, a woman in her 50s was arrested on suspicion of being intoxicated on an aircraft and remains in custody for questioning.”
