WHO Raises Concerns Over Systematic Destruction of Gaza’s Health System

The World Health Organization (WHO) expressed deep concern over the Israeli military’s raid on Kamal Adwan hospital in Gaza, which has rendered the facility out of service. According to the WHO, the hospital is now empty, and its critical patients were transferred to the Indonesian Hospital, which is also described as “destroyed and non-functional.” This raid is part of broader Israeli military operations in northern Gaza, which have severely impacted the health system. In the past 24 hours, 48 additional casualties were reported in Gaza, bringing the death toll to 45,484. The WHO emphasized the grave risks faced by the remaining 75,000 Palestinians in the area due to the ongoing siege and the destruction of medical infrastructure.
