WhatsApp Introduces New Feature to Control Chat Message Animations

WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature that gives users control over chat message animations, including emojis, stickers, and GIFs.

According to WABetaInfo, this feature allows users to disable autoplay, which keeps animated emojis stationary and prevents stickers and GIFs from moving unless the user interacts with them.

This update is designed for those who find excessive animations distracting. The feature is still being developed and is expected to be available in future updates.

WhatsApp is also working on another feature to offer users direct access to human chat support via the web client. This will allow users to receive real-time assistance from human representatives rather than relying on automated systems. Upon reaching out to support, users will be prompted to share details about their issue, and follow-up messages will be provided within the same conversation.

Furthermore, WhatsApp is introducing a new feature for businesses that enables them to use AI-powered responses to automatically handle customer messages. By scanning a QR code, businesses can activate these AI-driven replies, even when staff members are unavailable.
