Vawda Claims PTI’s Popularity Has Declined

Senator Faisal Vawda has claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been completely compromised and is no longer needed by the establishment.

Speaking on a private television channel, Vawda alleged that PTI leaders have been mismanaging party funds for personal financial gain. He dismissed the possibility of any major rallies or political alliances after Eid, stating that the current political scenario is unlikely to change.

He further asserted that PTIโ€™s popularity has declined as the public has become aware of its internal affairs. Referring to Fawad Chaudhry, he said, “Fawad is a friend and colleague. While he wants to return to PTI, I have no such intention.”

Vawda emphasized that he has no personal demands from Imran Khan but acknowledged him as his former leader. “He taught me politics, and if he ever needs me, I will be there for him,” he said.

He also praised Sher Afzal Marwat as a strong crowd-puller and a loyal PTI member but suggested that Marwat would eventually be forced out of the party.

Discussing PTIโ€™s recent political strategies, Vawda stated that all of Imran Khanโ€™s efforts, including letters, rallies, and social media campaigns, have failed. He blamed a group of conspirators for pushing Imran Khan towards political downfall, ultimately leading to his imprisonment.

Additionally, he accused Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of being the most corrupt province, alleging that the Chief Minister should face accountability for possessing assets beyond known sources of income.
