Pakistan’s total exports to the United States during the first five months of the fiscal year 2024-25 reached $2.512 billion, a notable increase of 9.29% from $2.299 billion in the same period last year, as reported by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
China followed as the second-largest destination for Pakistani exports, with exports worth $1.053 billion, showing a decline of 13.93% from the previous year’s $1.223 billion.
The United Kingdom ranked third, with exports valued at $935.018 million, up from $863.481 million last year.
Other key export destinations included the UAE, where exports reached $925.594 million (compared to $817.848 million in 2023), and Germany, with exports totaling $707.649 million, up from $613.778 million.
Exports to the Netherlands rose to $621.164 million, up from $560.266 million, while exports to Italy decreased to $480.727 million from $501.999 million.
Exports to Spain fell slightly to $600.871 million from $638.846 million, while exports to Afghanistan saw a significant increase, reaching $406.674 million from $234.563 million.
Exports to Bangladesh totaled $313.998 million, up from $241.960 million. Similarly, exports to France rose to $230.857 million, compared to $207.183 million, while exports to Belgium stood at $257.895 million, up from $236.207 million.
Exports to Saudi Arabia also saw growth, reaching $303.421 million compared to $275.619 million last year, while exports to Turkey decreased to $136.769 million from $158.843 million.
