US Court Rejects Blake Lively’s Request for Justin Baldoni’s Phone Records in Lawsuit

Blake Lively’s legal battle faced a setback as a U.S. court denied her request for access to Justin Baldoni’s phone records in an ongoing case involving allegations of harassment and retaliation.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the court ruled that the request was an excessive invasion of Baldoni’s privacy. Lively’s legal team argued the records contained proof of a coordinated effort to damage her reputation. However, U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman dismissed the request, citing privacy concerns and emphasizing that phone records often contain sensitive personal information.

Although Lively’s request was denied, the judge noted she could still seek specific details, such as the identities and contact information of those allegedly involved, through alternative legal means.

Lively’s representatives claim Baldoni swiftly sought legal intervention to block access to certain records. They also indicated plans to refine their legal approach and file more precise requests.

Meanwhile, Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, praised the ruling, calling Lively’s efforts an unwarranted invasion of privacy and a desperate attempt to find incriminating evidence.

While the ruling favors Baldoni for now, Lively’s team remains determined to gather evidence, keeping the legal dispute ongoing.
