On Sunday, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed optimism that Russia and Ukraine would reach an agreement by the end of this week to bring an end to the ongoing conflict.
Trump shared his thoughts on Truth Social, saying, “Both nations will then begin significant business ventures with the United States, which is flourishing, and will profit immensely!”
Since taking office earlier this year, the U.S. under Trump has been actively engaging in diplomatic efforts to resolve the war, facilitating talks with both Russia and Ukraine.
