Travis Scott Facing Lawsuit Over Alleged Security Guard Assault at Manhattan Concert

Rapper Travis Scott is facing a lawsuit from Omar Muhanna, who claims he was assaulted by one of Scott’s security guards outside a concert venue. The incident is alleged to have occurred on August 17, 2024, near the Javits Center in Manhattan during Fanatics Fest, where Scott was performing.

In the legal documents, Omar states that the security guard attacked him without any provocation or justification, causing serious and permanent injuries. Although the lawsuit doesn’t accuse Scott of directly participating in the assault, it holds him accountable for hiring the security company. Omar argues that the guard was acting within the scope of his job and had a history of violent behavior, prompting him to seek damages from Scott.

This is not the first legal issue for Travis Scott. The rapper was previously arrested in Miami for disorderly conduct and trespassing after an incident on a charter boat, leading to his brief detention before being released on bond.
