Netflix Confirms ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ Season 4, Featuring Mickey Haller’s Most Intense Case Yet

Netflix has officially greenlit a fourth season of The Lincoln Lawyer, with Manuel Garcia-Rulfo reprising his role as defense attorney Mickey Haller.

The new season, inspired by Michael Connelly’s novel The Law of Innocence, will see Mickey confronting his most personal and high-stakes case yet—defending himself in a murder trial.

Season 3 wrapped up with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger, as Mickey was stopped by the LAPD over a missing license plate, only for officers to uncover a dead body in his car trunk. The victim, identified as con artist Sam Scales (played by Christopher Thornton), sets the stage for a gripping courtroom battle in the upcoming season.

Co-showrunner Ted Humphrey hinted that the season premiere will unravel key details about Mickey’s arrest, the charges against him, and the new legal foes he must face. Among them is Constance Zimmer, who joins the cast as relentless prosecutor Dana Berg. Returning series regulars include Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Neve Campbell.

Filming for season 4 is already underway in Los Angeles, though Netflix has yet to confirm a release date. Since its debut in 2022, The Lincoln Lawyer has remained one of the streaming giant’s top-performing legal dramas.

Fans eager for the next chapter can revisit The Lincoln Lawyer seasons 1-3, currently available for streaming on Netflix, ahead of the highly anticipated fourth installment.
