The 2025 Grammys will take place on Feb. 2, spotlighting Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts

The 2025 Grammy Awards, scheduled for February 2 at Crypto.com Arena, will spotlight wildfire relief efforts following the recent devastating fires.

The Recording Academy revealed that this year’s broadcast will serve as a fundraiser for the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort, a program created in collaboration with MusiCares, which has already received an initial $1 million donation. The fund has distributed over $2 million in emergency assistance to music professionals and creatives affected by the fires.

Harvey Mason Jr., CEO of the Recording Academy, and Tammy Hurt, board chair, emphasized that the event will not only celebrate musical achievements but also address the ongoing crisis. They expressed their sympathy for those impacted by the fires, stating, “This year’s show will carry a renewed sense of purpose: raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery of first responders.”

The 67th Annual Grammy Awards will feature Beyoncé as the top nominee with 10 nominations, alongside multiple nominations for artists like Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, Kendrick Lamar, and Chappell Roan.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS, highlighting music’s role in healing and bringing people together during challenging times. The show will include tributes to first responders and emphasize resilience in the Los Angeles community.

Viewers are encouraged to tune in and contribute to the ongoing relief efforts during this year’s event.
