Teresa Palmer has officially joined the cast of 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank, a dark comedy directed by Frankie Shaw for Amazon MGM’s Orion label. Filming for the project began in December in Ireland, with a star-studded lineup that includes Liam Neeson, Talia Ryder, Whitney Peak, and Jack Dylan Grazer.

The film follows Danny (Neeson), a retired bank robber whose teenage granddaughter, Paige (Ryder), discovers that his former crew is pressuring him to return for one last heist to clear a debt. Determined to protect him, Paige enlists her three closest friends to rob the bank first, leading to an unpredictable and chaotic turn of events. Palmer plays the role of the bank manager, who finds herself romantically entangled with one of the robbers.

Adapted from the graphic novel by Matthew Rosenberg and Tyler Boss, the screenplay was written by Matt Robinson. The film is being produced by Picturestart, Miramax, Point Grey, Black Mask Studios, and Uncle Pete Productions, with FilmNation managing international sales.

Palmer, best known for her performances in Warm Bodies and A Discovery of Witches, has a busy slate of upcoming projects. She recently joined Russell Crowe in the action film Bear Country and is set to star in the drama series The Family Next Door and The Last Anniversary. Additionally, she appeared in the romantic comedy Addition, which premiered at TIFF, and in David Leitch’s The Fall Guy.

Palmer is represented by CAA, Entertainment 360, Shanahan Management, and Sloane Offer Weber & Dern.
