Tekashi 6ix9ine Files $1 Million Lawsuit Against LA Fitness Over Assault

Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, has filed a lawsuit against LA Fitness seeking over $1 million in damages after being brutally attacked at one of its South Florida gyms in 2023.

Hernandez claims the gym’s inadequate security contributed to the assault, which involved three men, allegedly members of the Latin Kings gang. The rapper contends that the gym staff failed to intervene during the incident and did not promptly call the authorities, violating standard safety procedures.

In his lawsuit, Hernandez states the attack resulted in serious injuries, including damage to his jaw, ribs, and back, along with significant pain, medical costs, and a loss of earnings. He also asserts that his quality of life was severely impacted. Video footage from the incident shows Hernandez trying to defend himself while being repeatedly struck. The authorities have arrested three men in connection with the attack.
