Taylor Swift’s ‘Lover’ Achieves Major Milestone Following End of Eras Tour

Taylor Swift’s album Lover continues to captivate audiences, even five years after its release. The 35-year-old artist, known for her vast discography, has seen Lover remain a fan favorite and attract new listeners.

As reported by Forbes, the album has experienced a resurgence, maintaining a strong presence on the U.K. charts for 260 weeks, a testament to its enduring appeal. Lover has consistently remained within the top 40 for half a decade, marking a significant milestone in its longevity.

This achievement places Lover as Swift’s second album to spend five years on the U.K. albums chart, joining 1989 (Taylor’s Version) in this exclusive category. Meanwhile, Folklore is also climbing the charts, with 229 weeks on the list, and may soon join the ranks of Lover and 1989.

Despite the challenges of its release, including the delay of its promotion due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lover made its mark in the pop music scene. Following the success of her record-breaking Eras Tour, Swift’s song “Cruel Summer” from Lover has also regained traction on the charts.
