Sharon Osbourne Stands Strong for Ozzy After Parkinson’s Diagnosis

Ozzy Osbourne has been leaning heavily on his wife, Sharon, and his family as he continues to battle Parkinson’s disease. A source recently shared with *In Touch Weekly* that the legendary musician has demonstrated incredible resilience over the past six years, despite facing significant challenges.

The rock icon, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s more than two decades ago, has managed to navigate the difficulties of the condition with “a lot of grit and unwavering support from his family,” according to the insider. However, his health struggles have been compounded by a severe fall in 2019, which has made his journey even more challenging.

“Dealing with Parkinson’s has been brutal, but the fall he suffered in 2019 has made it ten times worse,” the source revealed. Despite these obstacles, Sharon has remained a steadfast pillar of strength for Ozzy, and his children have also been incredibly supportive.

Another source disclosed that Ozzy’s mobility has significantly declined over the past year, making it difficult for him to stand. Yet, he remains determined to perform his final show on July 5. “It’s a miracle that he’s still going to perform,” the insider said. “His Parkinson’s affects him severely, but he’s refusing to sit this last show out, and Sharon is fully behind him.”

The source added that while there are days when Ozzy feels disheartened by his condition, he generally maintains a positive outlook. “Ozzy is grateful for the life he’s had and is amazed that he’ll be able to do one last show with Black Sabbath,” the insider shared.

In addition to his upcoming performance, Ozzy’s new documentary, *Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now*, will provide an intimate look at his life and his ongoing struggle with Parkinson’s disease. The film is expected to shed light on his resilience and the unwavering support of his family as he continues to face the challenges of his condition.
