Saim Ayub and Agha Salman Rise in ICC ODI Rankings After Stellar Performances
Saim Ayub, awarded Player of the Series for Pakistan’s 3-0 victory over South Africa, climbed 57 spots to 23rd in the ICC ODI rankings after scoring two centuries. Vice-captain Agha Salman also advanced 28 places to 80th.
Babar Azam retained his top ODI batter ranking for the fourth year, while Mohammad Rizwan moved to 21st. Shaheen Afridi dropped to third among ODI bowlers, while Naseem Shah climbed to 51st.
In T20I rankings, Saim Ayub reached 57th, and Babar and Rizwan stayed at sixth and eighth. The ICC also announced the Champions Trophy schedule, with matches set for February in Pakistan and Dubai.
