Ryan Reynolds Faces Allegations of Staging Fan Encounter Amid Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni Legal Dispute

Ryan Reynolds is facing online scrutiny after a public appearance in New York, where he was seen signing autographs amidst the ongoing legal dispute involving his wife, Blake Lively, and her co-star, Justin Baldoni. Social media users have raised questions about whether the encounter was staged for “damage control” during the controversy.

A video shared by a paparazzo showed Reynolds engaging with fans, signing Deadpool posters. While some viewed it as a regular celebrity interaction, others speculated it was orchestrated. Critics pointed out that all fans had similar merchandise and blue-taped cardboard, suggesting the moment was planned. Some even joked that Reynolds had hired actors to enhance his image.

The situation escalated when someone in the crowd yelled, “Justin is better,” as Reynolds left, further intensifying the rumors of tension between the actors.

This incident follows news that Reynolds and Lively informed a federal judge of their intention to seek the dismissal of Baldoni’s defamation lawsuit. Lively filed the lawsuit against Baldoni in December 2024, accusing him of sexual harassment and tarnishing her reputation. Baldoni countersued Lively, Reynolds, and The New York Times for civil extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy, seeking $400 million in damages.

The legal battle is set to begin on March 2025, while debates over Reynolds’ public appearance continue, with many questioning whether it was a genuine fan interaction or a calculated PR move.
