The Punjab Home Department has instructed the Inspector General of Prisons to arrange celebrations for Christmas and Quaid-e-Azam Day on December 25 in all prisons across the province, including Adiala Jail Rawalpindi.
Special arrangements have been made for Christian prisoners, who will partake in cake-cutting ceremonies and enjoy family visits. They will also be treated to home-cooked meals and receive gifts from prison authorities. Additionally, a festive meal will be served to Christian inmates to mark the occasion.
In celebration of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s birthday, sports tournaments, including volleyball, football, and cricket, will be held in the prisons, with teams made up of inmates. These activities are intended to promote unity and celebrate the day with a sense of joy and togetherness.
