Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has assigned an important new responsibility to senior minister Marriyum Aurangzeb.
As per the official notification issued by the Punjab government on Sunday, Aurangzeb has been appointed as the Minister for Tourism, Archaeology, and Museums, in addition to her current duties.
Aurangzeb, who is a close associate of Maryam Nawaz, is already a senior minister in the Punjab cabinet and has previously served as the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting. This appointment strengthens her position in the provincial leadership team.
