The Punjab Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has approved the dispatch of medicines and essential supplies to Parachinar residents, alongside other developmental projects.

The cabinet also celebrated Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s successful visit to China. She highlighted the warm reception and commended China’s achievements in turning its population into a source of strength, offering lessons for Punjab’s development.

In related developments, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) adviser Barrister Dr. Saif criticized the federal government for its lack of urgency in addressing the crisis in Kurram, contrasting the swift aid efforts led by the K-P government. On Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s directives, the province dispatched a third airlift of emergency medicines worth Rs12.4 million to the conflict-affected area using an MI-17 helicopter, with Rs200 million in supplies delivered to date.

Additionally, Faisal Abdul Sattar Edhi of the Edhi Foundation provided vital supplies to Kurram after securing approvals from federal authorities, further supporting the relief efforts.
