PTI to Participate in Parliamentary National Security Committee Meeting

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has officially announced its decision to take part in the upcoming Parliamentary National Security Committee meeting, as reported by Express News.

According to sources, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar and several senior party leaders advocated for attending the session during internal discussions. Junaid Akbar emphasized the need to consult with the PTI founder before finalizing the decision.

The party has submitted a list of 14 representatives to National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq. The delegation includes prominent figures such as Barrister Gohar, Asad Qaiser, Zartaj Gul, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Amer Dogar, Sanaullah Masti Khel, Ali Muhammad Khan, Senator Ali Zafar, Senator Humayun Muhammad, and Senator Awan Abbas.

The meeting, convened by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, is scheduled to be held tomorrow as an in-camera session. During the gathering, military leaders are expected to provide a detailed briefing on the current national security situation.

The session will take place in the National Assembly Hall and is anticipated to include parliamentary leaders from all major political parties, their designated representatives, and key cabinet members.
