Lahore Qalandars, the two-time champions, will make the first pick in the platinum category for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10. The pick order has been announced ahead of the player draft event.
Karachi Kings will pick second, followed by 2019 champions Quetta Gladiators in third and Peshawar Zalmi in fourth. Last seasonβs runners-up, Multan Sultans, will make the fifth pick, while current champions Islamabad United will pick sixth.
The second round of the platinum category will follow a reverse order, with Islamabad United picking first, followed by Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings, and Lahore Qalandars.
Each team will have three picks in the platinum, diamond, and gold categories. The pick order for the diamond category starts with Karachi Kings in the first round, Multan Sultans in the second, and Islamabad United in the third.
In the gold category, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, and Multan Sultans will have the first picks in the three rounds.
Additionally, each team will make five picks in the silver category, two in the emerging category, and four in the supplementary category.
The PSL 10 player draft is scheduled for January 11, 2025, in Gwadar, Balochistan. The registration for overseas players to offer their availability has already opened, and the player retention and relegation process will end by December.
