Protester with Palestinian, Sudanese flags removed at Super Bowl.

A demonstrator waving Palestinian and Sudanese flags briefly disrupted the Super Bowl LIX halftime show during Kendrick Lamar’s performance at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

The unidentified individual managed to reach the stage before security swiftly intervened and escorted him out of the venue.

The flags bore the words “Gaza” and “Sudan,” highlighting humanitarian crises in both regions. Video footage captured the protester leaping onto the stage and sprinting across the field while waving the flags. Security personnel pursued him for nearly 20 seconds before tackling and removing him from the field.

According to NFL Network’s Albert Breer, law enforcement promptly escorted the individual out of the stadium. The incident occurred amid heightened security measures at Super Bowl LIX, particularly following the New Year’s Day terror attack and the presence of former President Donald Trump at the event.

It remains unclear whether the protester was an attendee or had any connection to the halftime production team. However, the disruption has reignited discussions about security at major sporting events.

Despite the interruption, Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show continued without further disturbances. The moment quickly went viral on social media, adding to ongoing conversations about global conflicts and political activism in high-profile public spaces.
