Prince William and Princess Kate have shown their support for Beatrice and Edoardo’s new arrival by liking an Instagram post from the Royal Family’s official account, which shared the joyous news of baby Athena’s birth.
The couple welcomed their daughter on January 22, 2025, at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Edoardo posted a touching message about the arrival, which was later shared by the Royal Family’s page.
Though the Prince and Princess of Wales interacted with the Royal Family’s repost, they did not engage with Edoardo’s original post, as they are not followers of his Instagram account.
Other members of the royal family also celebrated the new arrival. Princess Eugenie and Sarah Ferguson shared the happy news on their Instagram stories, while James Middleton, Princess Kate’s brother, was one of the first extended family members to comment, expressing his congratulations with a pink heart emoji.
Beatrice and Edoardo are already parents to three-year-old Sienna Elizabeth, and Edoardo has an eight-year-old son, Christopher “Wolfie” Woolf, from a previous relationship.
