King Charles is reportedly open to welcoming Prince Harry and Meghan Markle back to Buckingham Palace as the couple considers relocating to the UK. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be actively searching for a property in the country to serve as a temporary base, aiming to reconnect with their families.
According to *Closer Magazine*, the couple, who currently reside in Montecito, California, is focused on mending strained relationships with the royal family. They also hope to strengthen ties with the Spencer family, the relatives of the late Princess Diana, following the resolution of Prince Harry’s legal case regarding security in the UK.
A source revealed that while a full reunion with the royal family is unlikely, the Sussexes may have a chance to rebuild their relationship with King Charles. “There have been concerns about how the family dynamic will shift with the news that Harry and Meghan are looking for a home in the UK,” the insider shared. The report added, “Rebuilding a relationship with the King will be a priority, but it won’t extend to other members of the family.”
Notably, Princess Catherine is reportedly opposed to Harry and Meghan’s return. The future Queen is said to believe that Meghan was “almost intent on undermining the royal family” and is determined to prevent a repeat of past tensions.
