President Zardari and PM Shehbaz Pledge to Build a Stronger, Prosperous Pakistan
On the occasion of Pakistan Day, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed their commitment to building a stronger, more prosperous, and progressive Pakistan. In their separate messages, both leaders highlighted the nation’s immense potential and called for unity and collective efforts to overcome challenges.
President Zardari urged all Pakistanis to rise above differences, reject division and negativity, and work together to create a prosperous, inclusive, and just society. He congratulated the nation and emphasized that the same spirit that led to the creation of Pakistan can guide the country toward a brighter future.
“The road ahead is challenging, but not impossible,” the President stated. He underscored that Pakistan’s true strength lies in its people, their resilience, hard work, and patriotism, which have carried the nation through its most difficult times.
President Zardari also acknowledged the complexities of the modern world, noting that Pakistan must navigate economic pressures, pursue sustainable development, and address global challenges.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif echoed these sentiments, emphasizing that with the right policies, dedicated efforts, and national unity, Pakistan can achieve economic prosperity, uphold social justice, and secure its rightful place among the global community.
He described Pakistan Day as a defining moment in the history of South Asia’s Muslims, recalling the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who envisioned a state where Muslims could live with dignity, freedom, and self-respect.
This year, Pakistan Day coincides with the holy month of Ramadan, a time of deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and renewed commitment to faith. PM Shehbaz highlighted that this convergence serves as a powerful reminder of the values of sacrifice and perseverance, principles that are deeply embedded in the nation’s foundation.
Both leaders called on the nation to draw inspiration from its history and work collectively to overcome challenges, achieve progress, and build a brighter future for generations to come.
