PM Showcases Economic Opportunities in Meeting with US Investors

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed his government’s commitment to creating a supportive environment for foreign investors, emphasizing a business-friendly atmosphere, simplified procedures, and robust institutional backing.

During a meeting with a delegation of international investors, led by prominent US investor Gentry Beach, the Prime Minister highlighted Pakistan’s strategic position, young workforce, and expanding consumer market as key factors that make the country an appealing investment hub.

“We are focused on fostering an environment that instills confidence and support for investors,” said Prime Minister Sharif, expressing his appreciation for the delegation’s interest in exploring investment opportunities in Pakistan.

Gentry Beach lauded Pakistan’s economic potential and expressed the delegation’s eagerness to invest in sectors such as mining, minerals, renewable energy, infrastructure, and technology. He also recognized the government’s investor-friendly policies and voiced optimism about Pakistan’s economic future.

The meeting underscores the government’s proactive approach to attracting foreign investment, fostering sustainable economic growth, and generating employment. Senior government officials, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, and other ministers, were also present at the meeting.
