Nawaz Sharif will be undergoing a routine medical check-up during his stay, which is expected to last about two weeks.
In addition to medical matters, the trip will involve political activities. Nawaz Sharif is slated to speak at the PML-N overseas convention in London, where party supporters from Europe and other regions are expected to gather.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is also likely to join her father for the visit, according to party sources. It is expected that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will arrive in London after concluding his official visit to Belarus.
During their time in London, the Sharif family is scheduled to hold important meetings with senior political figures.
