Paris Hilton revisits the ruins of her Malibu home: ‘Heartbroken beyond words’

Paris Hilton is grieving the loss of her Malibu home, which was destroyed in the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

The 43-year-old shared her heartbreak in an emotional Instagram post on January 8, revealing that she first learned about the destruction while watching the news. She later visited the ruins of her home to witness the aftermath.

“I’m standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable,” Hilton wrote.

She accompanied her post with footage of the charred property, showing collapsed walls, smoldering debris, and ashes where her house once stood.

Hilton reflected on the memories her home held, describing it as more than just a residence. “This was where Phoenix’s little hands created art I’ll cherish forever, where love and life filled every corner. Seeing it reduced to ashes is devastating beyond words,” she shared, referencing her 23-month-old son with her husband, Carter Reum.

Despite her heartbreak, Hilton expressed gratitude for the safety of her family and pets and praised the bravery of firefighters battling the blazes. “I know how fortunate I am,” she acknowledged.

She also sent a message of solidarity to others affected by the wildfires, writing, “We’re in this together. We will rebuild, heal, and come back stronger.”

The wildfires have displaced over 100,000 Los Angeles residents and claimed the lives of five civilians. Celebrities like Adam Brody, Leighton Meester, and Anna Faris are also among those who have lost their homes in the disaster.
