Pakistan Exposes Indian Sabotage Along LoC

Indian military and intelligence agencies have been actively engaged in destabilizing efforts in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan by deploying improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Pakistan has presented concrete evidence of these activities to United Nations officials.

Persistent Violations Along LoC

According to security sources, India has a history of unprovoked attacks and subversive operations targeting civilians near the Line of Control (LoC). Reports indicate that Indian forces have been involved in smuggling and planting IEDs to conduct sabotage operations.

Since 2016, there have been at least 54 documented instances of Indian forces planting IEDs along the LoC. Security forces have uncovered and neutralized these explosives in various areas, including Chakothi, Neza Pir, Chirikot, Rakh Chikri, Dewa, Battal, and Kot Kotera.

These IEDs have led to civilian casualties and injuries, with security reports indicating that India has also facilitated the smuggling of weapons and narcotics into AJK through routes in Bagh, Battal, and Dewa.

Recent Incidents and Ceasefire Violations

Between February 4 and 6, four Indian-planted IEDs were discovered in the Battal Sector and Rawalakot, leading to the martyrdom of one civilian. Additionally, on February 12, 2025, Indian forces violated the ceasefire in the Dewa and Bagsar Sectors, injuring two Pakistani soldiers.

Pakistan has officially lodged a protest against India over these activities and has shared compelling evidence with UN officials regarding attempts to incite instability in regions like Poonch, Bagh, Kotli, Mirpur, and Rawalakot.

False Flag Operations and Indian Military Corruption

Indian security forces have frequently orchestrated false flag operations and staged encounters to falsely implicate Pakistan in cross-border incidents. Several Indian military personnel from units such as 3 Rajputs and 12 Jats have been penalized for smuggling weapons and narcotics under the cover of military operations.

Security sources have also disclosed that Indian intelligence agencies use double agents to smuggle arms, later framing these operations as Pakistani activities. These agents are subsequently persecuted or falsely presented as Pakistani nationals to justify fabricated allegations and secure financial benefits.

In one such incident in November 2022, a civilian shot and killed an Indian soldier while he was attempting to conceal weapons, according to reports. Dissatisfaction within the Indian military has also led to an increase in suicides among soldiers, with many cases being falsely attributed to cross-border engagements to avoid scrutiny.

Broader Pattern of Indian Interference

India’s repeated ceasefire violations, IED deployments, and weapons smuggling threaten regional stability. The Indian military’s tactics serve as a smokescreen for its failures in occupied Kashmir, where authorities continue to suppress dissent and seize properties.

Defense analysts suggest that India is deliberately trying to destabilize AJK to create discord between the military and civilians. By making baseless accusations against Pakistan, India aims to divert international attention from its own covert operations.

Further evidence links Indian intelligence agencies to similar activities beyond South Asia. Reports have surfaced about Indian involvement in extrajudicial operations in countries like Canada, the US, the UK, and Australia. The assassinations of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada and a plot to target Gurpatwant Singh Pannun in the US are cited as examples of this global pattern.

Defense experts warn that India’s continued subversive actions could escalate tensions and pose a significant threat to regional and international security. Pakistan remains committed to exposing these activities and ensuring stability in the region.
