Pakistan set to play South Africa in first ODI tomorrow

The first match of the three-match ODI series between Pakistan and South Africa is set to take place tomorrow, following the conclusion of the T20 series.

The opening ODI will be held at Boland Park, where Pakistani players participated in a practice session on Monday to prepare for the game. During the session, the series trophy was also revealed. Both Pakistani captain Mohammad Rizwan and South African captain Temba Bavuma were present at the event.

However, Bavuma will miss the first ODI due to workload management, and Adam Markram will step in as the captain for South Africa.

To date, Pakistan and South Africa have faced off in 83 ODI matches. South Africa has won 52 of them, while Pakistan has won 30, with one match ending in no result.

It is important to note that the third and final T20 match between the two teams was called off due to rain, with South Africa winning the T20 series 2-0.
