Pakistan Passport Ranked as One of the World’s Weakest Again

Pakistan Passport Once Again Among World’s Weakest, According to 2025 Nomad Passport Index

The Pakistan passport has been ranked among the weakest globally yet again, according to the Nomad Passport Index 2025.

The Nomad Capitalist Passport Index assesses 199 national passports, offering a detailed, data-driven analysis of what it means to hold global citizenship. The rankings are based on five key factors: visa-free travel, taxation policies, global perception, dual citizenship options, and personal freedoms. These factors are crucial for modern-day nomads, entrepreneurs, investors, and globally-minded individuals.

For this year, Pakistan’s passport is ranked 195th with a score of 32.00. Its “Travel” score is 46, reflecting that passport holders can enter 9 countries without a visa, 33 countries with visa-on-arrival access, and just four destinations that offer electronic travel authorization (eTA).

The “Taxation” score for Pakistan is 20, indicating that Pakistan allows its citizens the possibility of relocating to avoid taxation.

The countries ranked just above Pakistan include Iraq (31.50 points), Eritrea (31 points), Yemen (30.50 points), and Afghanistan (27 points).

On the other end of the spectrum, Ireland topped the list with 109 points, thanks to its passport holders’ access to 176 visa-free destinations. Switzerland follows closely in second with 108.5 points, and Greece holds third place with an equally impressive score.
