The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveiled the national team’s official new jersey for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 in a grand ceremony held at the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium on Friday. The event showcased Pakistan’s 15-member squad for the prestigious eight-team tournament, with players modeling the new kit. A video featuring Pakistani cricketers in the fresh attire was also released during the stadium’s inauguration.
The new jersey, in a light green shade, prominently displays “Pakistan” across the center, complemented by a green crescent on the left and the Champions Trophy emblem on the right. The ceremony not only highlighted the team’s new look but also celebrated the completion of the Gaddafi Stadium’s renovation. The revamped stadium is set to play a pivotal role in the upcoming tri-nation ODI series between Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa, hosting two matches on February 8 and 10.
Furthermore, the Gaddafi Stadium is scheduled to host at least four matches during the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, including the second semi-final on March 5. If India does not qualify for the final, the stadium could also stage the championship match on March 9.
The Champions Trophy will run from February 19 to March 9, featuring 15 matches across three venues in Pakistan—Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi—as well as one in Dubai. The event marks a significant moment for Pakistani cricket, as the country prepares to welcome international teams and fans for the high-profile tournament.
