Pakistan Day Celebrations Kick Off with Nationwide Gun Salutes

Pakistan Day Celebrations Begin with Patriotic Fervor

Pakistan Day celebrations kicked off on Sunday with a 21-gun salute in provincial capitals and a 31-gun salute in the federal capital, Islamabad. The nation marked the 85th anniversary of Pakistan Day with immense devotion and patriotic spirit.

Special prayers were held across the country for Pakistan’s progress, prosperity, and development. The resounding gun salutes by the Pakistan Army further ignited a sense of national pride among citizens.

On this significant day, people renewed their commitment to protect and defend the country at all costs. Pakistan Day commemorates the historic Lahore Resolution of March 23, 1940, a pivotal moment in the struggle for an independent homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent. Under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, this movement triumphed despite formidable challenges.

Citizens from all walks of life gathered in mosques to offer prayers for the nation’s prosperity and stability. Religious scholars emphasized the importance of unity to counter any threats or conspiracies against the country.

The day served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by the nation’s founders and inspired citizens to work collectively for a brighter future.
