Online Portal Launched for Iftar Meal Distribution at Masjid an-Nabawi
The General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has introduced a digital platform to streamline the process for individuals and organizations wishing to distribute iftar meals at Masjid an-Nabawi during Ramadan.
As reported by Arab media, this portal will simplify registration for those eager to serve fasting worshippers.
Only companies approved by the authority will receive permits for iftar distribution, with a publicly accessible list of authorized entities.
The initiative aims to ensure an organized, respectful, and well-managed distribution process. The data collected through the system will help optimize logistics, prevent overcrowding, and minimize food wastage.
Last month, a similar online system was launched for iftar distribution in Makkah, allowing applicants to choose from ten designated service areas.
The authority has also emphasized the importance of providing iftar meals that accommodate individuals with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, by incorporating nutritious, low-calorie food options.
This initiative is part of broader efforts to improve the efficiency and organization of Ramadan services at the holy sites, ensuring a seamless and spiritually fulfilling experience for worshippers.
