KARACHI: Oman’s Consul General, Sami Abdullah Salim Al Khanjari, has encouraged Karachi’s business community to explore investment opportunities in the oil-rich Gulf nation, emphasizing the substantial benefits available for investors.
Speaking during a meeting with a delegation led by Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Merchants Association (PCDMA) Chairman Salim Valimuhammad at the Omani consulate, the consul general highlighted the potential for collaboration in the petrochemical sector. He noted that joint ventures and business agreements in this industry could foster closer ties between the business communities of both nations, ultimately strengthening their economic relationship.
He extended an invitation to the PCDMA delegation to visit Oman, explore its petrochemical and other industrial sectors, and engage in business-to-business meetings with Omani traders. The consulate would facilitate these interactions to promote bilateral trade.
Additionally, the consul general announced that the consulate would provide visa facilitation for PCDMA-recommended individuals, aiming to streamline business travel and encourage trade engagement.
PCDMA Chairman Salim Valimuhammad provided an in-depth briefing on the chemicals and dyes industry, discussing opportunities related to the import of industrial raw materials from Oman. He emphasized the importance of business networking and collaboration between traders from both countries. Welcoming the invitation, he stated that exchange visits between business delegations would enhance trade relations and open new avenues for commercial partnerships, ultimately benefiting both economies.
