Noah Centineo hints at returning to romantic comedies after ‘XO, Kitty’

Noah Centineo has expressed interest in returning to romantic comedies following his emotional cameo in XO, Kitty. In a recent interview with People, the 28-year-old actor revealed that he’d love to revisit the genre that propelled his career, particularly reflecting on his breakthrough role as Peter Kavinsky in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.

He shared, “At some point, I would like to go back to romance,” adding, “I don’t know if it would be a young adult, but I do want to go back to romance.”

In a behind-the-scenes clip with Netflix’s Tudum, Noah admitted feeling apprehensive about revisiting his iconic role after so many years. “You reopen something that I did five years ago. It was very, very special, and you want to do it justice. You don’t want to let anyone down,” he confessed, calling the experience “surreal.”

Centineo first gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Peter Kavinsky, the popular jock who transitions from a fake boyfriend to a real one in the To All the Boys trilogy, based on Jenny Han’s novels. Recently, he made a special appearance as Peter in the second season of XO, Kitty, where he played a college student at Stanford offering advice to his girlfriend’s little sister, Kitty, while attending a lacrosse tournament in Seoul.
