Pakistani actress and morning show host Nida Yasir recently addressed rumors surrounding the nationality of Neelam Muneer’s husband. The speculation stemmed from Neelam’s lavish wedding in Dubai, which was attended by close family members. A month after the wedding, she posted photos from the event, featuring her husband, Muhammad Rashid, in traditional Arab attire. This sparked debates online, with some fans speculating that Rashid might be Arab, while others claimed he is from Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab, Pakistan.
Social media influencer Yasir Shami further fueled the confusion by stating that Neelam’s husband is Arab.
On her morning show, Nida Yasir offered her perspective on the matter, which quickly went viral. She extended her congratulations to Neelam and shared her thoughts on Rashid’s background. “I want to congratulate Neelam Muneer on her wedding. She’s dear to me as she has worked closely with my husband and me,” Nida said.
Regarding the rumors, she clarified, “There has been a lot of curiosity about her husband’s nationality, with some assuming he’s Arab. However, I believe he’s actually from Punjab, Pakistan, and currently lives in Dubai. We wish them a happy married life.”
Despite the ongoing interest, Neelam has remained tight-lipped about her husband’s background and has kept her personal life largely private.
