The Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has scheduled the first meeting between the government and PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) negotiation committees for tomorrow at 11:30 AM in his Parliament House office.
Ayaz Sadiq thanked the Prime Minister for forming a committee to start talks with the opposition, calling it a positive step. He stressed the importance of dialogue to resolve issues and assured both sides that his office would always be open for discussions.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif formed the government’s committee on Ayaz Sadiq’s advice. This committee includes leaders like Ishaq Dar, Rana Sanaullah, and Raja Pervez Ashraf, among others. The PTI team features Omar Ayub, Asad Qaiser, and others.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar praised the creation of the government’s committee and expressed hope for quick and meaningful results from the negotiations. He emphasized the need for serious, solution-focused discussions to resolve all issues.
