Mumbai Police Investigate ‘Terror Threat’ Call Against PM Modi’s Aircraft

Mumbai Police have initiated an investigation after receiving a call warning of a potential terror attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aircraft ahead of his scheduled international visit.

According to reports from Asian News International (ANI), the call was made to the Mumbai Police Control Room on February 11, alleging that terrorists were planning to target the Prime Minister’s plane as he prepared to depart for his trip to France and the United States.

Given the gravity of the threat, law enforcement agencies promptly informed the relevant security authorities and launched a detailed investigation before Modi’s departure.

“On February 11, a call was received at the Mumbai Police Control Room indicating a possible terrorist attack on PM Modi’s aircraft as he was set to leave for an official trip abroad. Due to the seriousness of the alert, the police immediately notified other agencies and began an inquiry,” Mumbai Police stated.

Authorities have not yet provided additional details regarding the origin of the call or any verified threats. However, security measures surrounding the Prime Minister’s travel arrangements were intensified following the warning.
