Miranda Lambert has a lighthearted way of handling unnecessary criticism.
The 41-year-old country singer recently posted a collection of photos from her February activities, showcasing horseback riding, outdoor adventures, and even yoga with baby goats.
For her workout, she opted for a relaxed look, wearing bright blue leggings paired with a gray long-sleeve top. While most of her followers appreciated the glimpse into her life, one critic took issue with her outfit.
“Yikes, legging-type pants are not flattering on people with a little extra here and there. They don’t do you any favors,” the commenter wrote.
They went on to add, “You are too beautiful to show the unattractive parts. Honestly, I’m not a fan of leggings on anyone. I’ve seen more than I wanted to.”
Rather than letting the negativity get to her, Lambert responded with sarcasm. She shared a screenshot of the comment on her Instagram Stories with a witty caption: “Good to know! I’ll work on hiding my ‘unattractive parts.’”
Her fans quickly rallied behind her, slamming the body-shaming remark and praising Lambert for her confident response. Many called out the critic’s unnecessary negativity, while others applauded her for handling the situation with humor.
This isn’t the first time Lambert’s fans have come to her defense.
In 2022, a video of her performing went viral on TikTok, attracting rude comments—mainly from men—about her appearance. Her supporters immediately shut down the criticism.
“I find it funny that it’s only men commenting on her weight. She looks stunning,” one fan pointed out. Another added, “Half the men in these comments would be lucky to have someone like her.”
A different supporter shared, “I have a similar body type, and seeing her embrace herself makes me feel more confident.” Others reminded critics that bodies naturally change over time, saying, “Weight fluctuates—it’s part of life.”
Through it all, Lambert remains unapologetically herself—leggings included—proving that confidence is the best way to silence the haters.
