Michelle emphasized that she is deeply involved in projects like the Obama Presidential Center, under construction in Chicago and set to open in 2025, and still cares deeply about causes like girls’ education.
Michelle also reflected on the challenges women face when they set boundaries, especially in professional settings, sharing how saying “no” often leads to unnecessary judgment. She expressed frustration with how quickly the public jumps to conclusions about her life, noting that society often fails to acknowledge women’s independence in decision-making.
Michelle and Barack, married since 1992 and parents to two daughters, continue to be a strong couple, with the Obama Presidential Center opening in 2025 serving as one of their significant ongoing projects.
