Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), has reaffirmed his commitment to incorporating Islamic values into politics, regardless of the challenges. Speaking at an event in Multan, he described human intellect as a divine gift protected by religious institutions. Although he acknowledged the difficulties of advocating for Islamic principles in a political landscape, especially under Muslim leadership, he stressed that these efforts must persist.
Fazlur Rehman emphasized JUI’s determination, noting that despite having only eight members in the National Assembly, the party has continued to make significant progress. He reiterated the importance of following the example of their forebears and leaving the outcomes of their efforts in the hands of God.
