In a candid conversation with Madeha Naqvi on Monday, Mansha Pasha reflected on some of the most challenging periods of her life. Having been married twice, she acknowledged that her first marriage was far from easy. “That phase was incredibly difficult for me, just like my college years. There are times in life that make you question your choices and create uncertainty about the future. But deep down, you know you just have to push through,” she shared.
She emphasized how, in hindsight, such experiences shape a person. “Only when you look back do you realize how essential those struggles were in building your character. Every experience, whether positive or negative, plays a role in personal growth,” added the Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida star.
Mansha also spoke about the loss of her father and the difficult period surrounding it. “He was battling cancer, and at the same time, a lot was going on. Shortly after he passed away, my mother suffered a heart attack. It was one of the hardest times in my life,” she revealed.
Between 2014 and 2015, she endured a particularly overwhelming period. “Everyone goes through a phase where it feels like everything is happening at once. For me, that time stretched from September 2014 to the end of 2015. I was juggling work, marriage, and my fatherβs illness.”
Recalling her father, she described him as an imposing figure. “He was a towering man with a deep voice that could startle people. Seeing someone so strong disappear from your life is a difficult reality to accept,” she said.
Now, happily married to activist and lawyer Mohammad Jibran Nasir, Mansha has found ways to protect her peace, particularly by limiting her engagement on social media.
“I only watch the reels my husband and friends share with me. I make a conscious effort to stay away from unnecessary online drama, including my own. The digital space has become too toxic. No matter what you do, people will find a reason to criticize, so why stress over it?” she explained.
Mansha tied the knot with Jibran in 2021, three years after her divorce from Asad Farooqi. Reflecting on her second marriage, she spoke fondly of her husband. “From the moment I met Jibran, I knew he was the right person for me,” she said in a September interview on Mazaq Raat. “He has always shown kindness and care. Instead of focusing on problems, he looks for solutions, and that makes all the difference.”
