The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has made applying for new electricity connections easier. Now, both home and business customers can apply online through the official website, www.enc.com.pk.
To apply, consumers need to fill out an online form, upload necessary documents, and submit a hard copy to the local office.
Cost of the new connection:
- A single-phase meter connection costs around Rs7,240, but it can range from Rs18,000 to Rs25,000 in some parts of Lahore during winter. Prices may increase in the summer.
Application steps:
- Visit www.enc.com.pk and complete the online form.
- Provide details like your CNIC and NTN.
- Submit the form and documents to the relevant office.
- After verification, LESCO will send a demand notice, which you can pay at a bank.
- Once payment is confirmed, the installation will be done.
This new system is meant to improve customer service and speed up the process, including lifting restrictions on solar system connections.
